We are a key player in the Grocery, Retail, Customer Service, Food Service market, based in San Mateo.

This position requires a strong skillset in relevant areas and a proactive approach.

Remuneration is $17-$23/Hour (approximately $20.8k/Year).

About the position

The Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate role is designed to provide an exceptional grocery shopping experience for customers. This position involves engaging with customers, assisting with product knowledge, and managing various store operations in a fast-paced environment. Associates will be responsible for tasks ranging from checkout operations to fresh food preparation, ensuring a clean and well-stocked store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage in friendly conversations to understand their shopping needs.
• Provide product recommendations and information to assist customers in making decisions.
• Operate cash registers and assist customers in self-service checkout lanes.
• Process in-store and Amazon.com returns efficiently.
• Prepare fresh food items such as salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches.
• Stock shelves, set up merchandise displays, and maintain a clean sales floor.
• Unload product deliveries and organize the stockroom effectively.
• Pick items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and perform duties safely in English.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
