Job Summary of Courier Agent:

Courier Agent form a critical part of Kelly Services by facilitating the efficient and secure delivery of documents, packages, and other materials to clients and businesses. Essential qualities for this role include timeliness, reliability, and the ability to handle items with care.

Responsibilities of Courier Agent:

• Provide safe and efficient transportation services for delivering goods to clients or businesses.
• Facilitate the completion of delivery duties by overseeing processes such as loading and unloading to maintain the accuracy and condition of all items transported.
• Inspect orders before and after delivery to confirm order completion, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Keep in touch with the central dispatch unit to receive delivery instructions or be notified of any alterations in route or schedule.
• Acquire payments and signatures from consumers upon request and manage the maintenance of transaction documentation.
• Consistently monitor the delivery vehicle's maintenance requirements to maintain operational efficiency and report any malfunctions or incidents to management promptly.
• Move along a variety of routes throughout the city while maintaining adherence to traffic regulations.
• Keep the delivery items confidential and secure during transit.

Qualifications of Courier Agent:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver.
• Valid professional driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with using GPS devices and local geographical knowledge for efficient navigation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of managing tight schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle delivery issues effectively.
