Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be an essential part of our clinical team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure our patients receive high-quality, compassionate care. You will work directly with patients and healthcare providers to manage patient flow, perform clinical duties, and maintain a smooth and efficient clinic operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and room patients, take vital signs, and record patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Manage patient appointments, answer phone calls, and handle patient inquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the healthcare provider.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
